Department of Companion Animals, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is an agency that established according to the Chiang Mai University Act, B.E 2551 on the Division of Academic and Other Agencies dated on 28 November 2009. Its structure to be attached by 3 clinics namely Small Animal Clinic, Equine Clinic, and Wildlife Clinic. Its mission to conduct teaching, research, and preserve arts and culture.
